Chairman Enerfab speeks of re-greening our tropical country
Short rotation copicing (SRC) of fast growing trees is a sustainable method of collecting biomass for energy at this point of time whare sustainability is of ut most importance. The plants identified for SRC are fast growing and liguminus, most of these trees grow in harsh environments thus making it posible to utilise underutilised scrub land for fuel wood plantations. This consept helps our company vision of regreening our tropical island - Sri Lanka

EnerFab was founded in 2005 with the vision to provide biomass based renewable energy solutions to the local industry. Since then, EnerFab has been offering turn-key biomass technological solutions along with biomass supplied from sustainable energy plantations and the extraction through a collection network consisting of 3000 farmers.
